TO ALL CANAL INSUREDS:
Your policy requires that you report all accidents immediately and directly to Canal, even if you
are not at fault or it seems minor. Claim reporting is available 24/7 at 888.247.4424.
Information typically collected during Canal’s claims process includes:

• Date and time of the accident
• Where the accident occurred (street/intersection, city, state)
• Whether anyone was injured, and if an ambulance was called
• Brief description of the accident
• Names and phone numbers of other
• parties involved (other drivers,
• passengers, witnesses)
• Vehicle Identification Number (VIN)
• Police report number
Any other information helpful to the claim
